Makeup, alongside fashion, has always been a passion of mine. I used to spend hours upon hours watching makeup tutorials on Youtube, trying to learn as much as I could. But then university came and I had to tone down the time I spent watching these videos. but that doesn't mean my love for makeup has diminished.
Today I decided to share with you guys my everyday makeup routine.
Before I even start to apply my makeup, I put on some moisturizer (water-based because my skin is very sensitive and get irritated by the smallest things) - the one I use is from Cien and retails for only 4€. Then, I apply the Flormar Mat Touch Foundation with a Real Technique brush followed by the Essence Stay Natural Concealer and blend it with a Beauty Blender. To set my base I apply the Essence Mattifying Compact Powder with a Shu Uemura brush (third one in the picture starting from the left side)
I normally don't spend a lot of time contouring and highlighting but I this is a step I don't skip because I like the look of a defined face. I actually use eyeshadows to contour and highlight because my skin is so light that the standard contour and highlighting kits make my face look like it's dirty. for contouring I use the Kiko Clics System eyeshadow in 213 and for highlighting I use the Kiko Clics System eyeshadow in 254. I apply both these colors with my Shu Uemura brush (the first in the picture starting form the left side)
Depending on the days, I like to use my Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. Normally I use the color W.O.S and apply it all over my eye, followed by the color Naked 2 on my crease and Venus on my inner corner and brow bone. I apply these with a small Shu Uemura brush (the second one in the picture starting from the left side). Next, comes my favorite part: eyelashes. I first curl them and then apply the Essence Get Big Lashes mascara, which gives me big and long lashes, somehting I love. After I've done my eyes, I fill in my eyebrows with a Primark Eyebrow Pencil.
If I use eyeshadow, I normally leave my lips bare, but if I just apply mascara (which is about 80% of the time) I use a Primark Lip Pencil and a Avon Lipstick and I'm ready to go!
